I keep bees on a hill at the Marriott. Over the hill, there is very dense thorny brush and a thick wall of trees. I’ve been clearing the space with my chain saw, demolition saw and brush hog. Things are going well and there’s now, a few acres here that I’ve cleared. Soon, I will lead a team to maintain and restructure this area. The resort will use it for meeting space and out door events.
Pictures DO NOT do this justice. And truth be told, I’m still working here! The clearing abuts the lake and is absolutely stunning. The total area is 3.5 times this space shown (or more) and is accessible by vehicle though one side; secret garden entrance on the opposite side. Also, it is accessible via the apiary.
