In a nut shell:

Day 1) Beetles (2-3 adults) spotted on brood frame

Day 3) Small larvae seen in 1/4 inch area

Day 4) Entire colony leaves (absconds)

Day 5) Colony completely overridden with larvae

Day 6) Slime out – fermented honey drips out of hive

Day 8) Clean out entire colony

Day 10) Start over completely

Day 12) Beetles (2-3 adults) spotted on brood frame

* All 13 colonies were infected with this parasite at various times – sometimes, several colonies at once.
